Drive HWY 7 to Mount Ida or Hot Springs, AR

Both Mount Ida and Hot Springs are known for their crystal mines. Hot Springs also has a vibrant tourist culture and history that includes legends like Al Capone. To get to either of these places, it takes about two hours by car, driving south through the Ouachita National Forest.
From Vinyard Vinyasa Retreat, take a LEFT out of the driveway and then a LEFT onto Hwy 64. When you see the Dollar General, turn LEFT onto AR-164 N to I-40 East.
Take Exit 81 (Russellville) for AR-7 South all the way into Hot Springs.
To get to Mount Ida, take Exit 81 (Russellville) for AR-7 South. After you get to Centerville, AR-7 and AR-28 run together until you get to the town of Ola. Stay on AR-28 S all the way to Mount Ida.
